Hello and welcome! I'm Whitney—a dynamic blend of passion, innovation, and compassion. At the core of who I am lies an unwavering commitment to making a difference and leaving a positive impact wherever I go.
I love solving problems, and I find science fascinating. I also love to observe human behavior, try new things, and working side-by-side with producers. I’ve found a way to incorporate everything I love into what I do.
I’ve done this through my “why not” philosophy. Want to milk cows - sure why not. Want to go to grad school - sure why not. Want to work with plants - sure why not. As scientists we are taught to question everything, but rarely do we ask the question “why not”.
So here I am, building a website (why not), to let the world know who I am, what I have to offer, and to hopefully embrace the idea of “why not.”

I believe all things are interconnected; we just need to find the intersections. Sometimes those intersections are obvious, but most of the time they are hidden.
Because of my diverse background, I’ve been lucky to participate in all stages of product develop (conception to commercialization). I know what it takes to get your AgTech or AnimalAgTech products to the market. Does it feel like your company or group has a hard time executing on their targets? Do task fall through the cracks or are constantly delayed? Are your meetings unproductive and feel like nothing gets decided? Chances are there is a facilitation problem.
I bring people together. I get teams and companies marching to the same beat. I clarify goals and targets, setup action items and ownership, develop processes where needed, perform gap analysis and competency mapping, and most importantly empower people to ask the hard questions and hold themselves and their team accountable. Some may even dare to call me a change agent. I call myself a corporate facilitator. I help companies realize their potential while simultaneously assisting VC’s de-risk their portfolio companies.
